I liked the large open room with a big ocean view at 1032 Via Ventana. You can see a lot of Catalina Island from this home and it has a peaceful view of the Lunada Bay community and great location to all of the award winning local schools.  I liked the floorplan too as there was a social area, and the bedroom side of the home with clean lines and details.

26722 Hyte Rd was recently remodeled with a new kitchen, flooring, and windows. It has a large open area that the kitchen looks into, and clean defined lines. There is some yard in the back, and a sun room that was converted into living space, but perhaps not included in the square footage (need to investigate). This is located next to Cornerstone school.

5853 Flambeau Rd has been recently remodeled and updated. I was surprised how light and bright the home was and the work looked really good. It has an enclosed sun room which many people do with this common floorplan. They also closed off the Master Bath which normally would open to the kitchen laundry area. The remodel looked good and I really like this part of the street.

29127 Indian Valley has a ton to offer. A larger home in a great area, this two story property has some nice upgrades and a lot of room. There is nice hardwood floors, baseboards and crown molding throughout each room, plus skimmed ceilings.  I liked the yard and PV Stone waterfall.  Good Value.

29362 Whitley Collins is located in the Ridgecrest School area and is very desirable. The landscaping was nice which is a testament of all the work they put into this home. It was really nice!! The back yard was great for entertaining and the bar-be-que bar area was really something else. They have done a bunch of upgrades and this is a good sized property and a beautiful kitchen. There are already offers on this one, so it will sell quickly over the asking price.

4903 Browndeer has a lot to offer. I was impressed with the City view and loved the back yard deck. There are some things that can be upgraded in this home which gives a Buyer an opportunity to customize and build equity in this property.  I really liked how they took advantage of the vaulted ceilings and it makes the home feel bigger. One bedroom had a raised bed so there was more floor space for a desk and play time.  The vaulted ceiling made that room useful.

4600 Rollando is a beautiful huge home on a massive lot of 1.2 acre. There were a bunch of upgrades with nice style throughout this home. The bedrooms were some of the biggest I have ever seen, and the property is also very expansive.

4389 Miraleste is a fixer and needs some updating. I can see some opportunity here, and one would need to touch every room to update and improve the property.

This is a great time of year to buy a home. Prices have come down a bit and there are some good deals right now. Typically the slow season, there are still homes selling in the first week with multiple offers. About Me: Jason Buck is a lifelong resident of Palos Verdes and enjoys the history and culture of the peninsula. Growing up by the Pt. Vicente lighthouse, Jason learned about the hill roaming the plains under city hall and wading through the tide pools at the bottom of the cliff. In 1998 Jason bought the home he grew up in, and started his career in real estate. Jason has also had the opportunity of traveling through Europe, Central America, Mexico, and Australia, and Costa Rica. His travels have opened his mind to various cultures and experiences allowing him to understand and appreciate the different lifestyles around the world. After managing a family business and installing hardwood floors, Jason realized a natural ability of hosting clients in the town he was raised. “It was really easy for me to show visitors the peninsula and entertain them with the numerous attributes and specialties the hill has to offer,” he said after showing a prospective buyer a few Palos Verdes homes. “Many people have no idea that a PV oasis exists, and I know a lot of the hidden secrets that keep this place special.” Jason has received a Certified International Property Specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors® and is expanding his business to International markets. His goal is to find solid relationships that support win/win situations for both client and agent.
